How Filters Work

Filters are how you define who you want to see and who can see you. On Deck uses a two-way filter system. You set your preferences, and you only see people who match them. At the same time, you only appear to people whose preferences you match.

This means filtering is mutual. If you set your age range to 25 to 35, you will only see people in that range, and only people who have included your age in their range will see you. This applies to all filter categories including location, lifestyle, and values.

You can update your filters at any time from the discovery settings. Changing your filters immediately updates who appears in your feed and who can find you.
