How Verification Works

Verification is a process that confirms you are a real person and that your photos match your identity. Verified members receive a badge on their profile, which increases trust and can improve your visibility in discovery feeds.

To get verified, go to your profile settings and tap "Verify My Identity." You will be asked to take a real-time selfie that matches your profile photos. Our system compares the selfie to your uploaded images to confirm a match.

Verification is optional but strongly recommended. Verified profiles tend to receive significantly more messages and are prioritized in discovery. Your verification selfie is never shown publicly and is used only for confirmation purposes.
